Introduction

The aim of this unit is to promote and provide various social and cultural services to the villagers of the surrounding community .

Activities:

i)Free coaching to the poor students to achieve upto school final standard. Presently 96 students benefited from this service.

ii)Free "yoga" training is given to interested students by this unit.At present 120 students are taking free regular trainings from this unit.

iii)Free training in various musical instruments including “tabla” (special musical instrument) and song are also provided. iv)Various cultural functions,youth festivals and annual ceremonies, meetings and other social and cultural activites are also performed as a part of human resource developments.

Future plan:

i)This unit has a future plan of providing a free drawing class for interested students.

ii)We also have a plan to provide an infrastructure to enable the women of the community to generate their own employment and become self-sufficient.

The Objects of the Society

i) To develop the general spiritual level of the members by following Sree Ramakrishna Order.
ii) To take steps to uphold and propagate the teachings of Sree Ramakrishna , Sarada Mata and of Swami Vivekananda.
iii)To print , Publish , sell and distribute books , journals , pamphlets etc. on the teachings of Sree Ramakrishna,Sarada Mata and SwamiVivekananda.
iv) To improve the welfare of the people to achieve a quality of life which will promote Swami Vivekananda’s genuine sense of integration , harmony and International goodwill.
v) To initiate Socio- cultural activities in various forms for expanding the thoughts of Sree Ramakrishna, Sarada Mata and Swami Vivekananda.
vi) To strive to work for the welfare of distressed mankind recognising the fundamental universality of all religions.
vii)To accept any bequest , gift , donation , subscription etc for raising fund of the Society.
viii)To do all such other things as are incidental and conducive to the attainments of the above objects or any one of them.

Visiting Hours of Ashrama and Sangha

April to Sept -6-00 am to 11-30 am & 4-00 pm to 7-00 pm

Oct to Mar -6-30 am to 11-30 am & 3-30 pm to 6-30 pm

Root Direction:

From Kamarpukur, the Holy birth place of Thakur (God) Ramakrishna, follow approximately 2k.m north towards Ma Bishlakmi Mandir (Temple) at village -Anur. Anur is well connected to Kolkata (About 100 kms ) by bus .
